You started a trial account and provided your payment details, right? When you signed up for that trial it also said that if you did not cancel the account you would be charged at the end of the trial.
Luckily Treehouse support is great! Just send them an email describing your problem and they will surely help you out :) Here's a link to the support: Treehouse customer support

1,454 PointsThat's tricky. The've designed it in such a way that makes difficult to notice "the active enrollment". As I wanted to try to learn during the free period, I wrote credit card details, but I didn't expect them to charge me without ASKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm convinced this system is made on purpose to drain money.
I've written them. No reply yet...........................
