Health and safety disclaimer IOS

Hello all,

I came across an IOS app that was designed and developed by a team of 14 year old's. Amazed by the enthusiasm of these school kids I am going to offer to redesign the app for them.

The app is a cycling route SatNav for a mountain trail, possibly not the safest of apps in the world, hence the need for health and safety disclaimers. In general, are health and safety disclaimers placed within the app itself? Or are they found in the terms and conditions of the app within the App store?

The short answer is both, you want to have to have your EULA to have the disclaimers worded in legalese to shield yourself or your clients from possible lawsuits, and you also want to have a tab or a page or a notice on your app that clarifies the EULA for your customers. That's just because the biggest lie on the internet is "I have read and agree on the terms and conditions". I guess you would be able to get away with just copying the disclaimers on GPLv2 and loosing the open source bits. But people are very devious and with that it mind you should always consult with a lawyer that knows about technology.
