does anyone else have trouble following the video and completing the instructions at the same time? im having trouble focusing on what he's saying and doing since im also trying to follow along. i dont feel like im retaining any information being taught. im constantly pausing the video to complete the steps.

Treehouse TeacherHi there! I think this is pretty common. I also pause the video and do the coding immediately after they type a line. Admittedly, this can result in a somewhat "choppy" experience. However, if I feel like I've missed what they're saying, I will replay the video and this time... I don't type anything. Alternatively, you could do the opposite. Watch it first, and then go back and do the coding along with them. There's no shame in replaying a video. Some of them I've watched several times.
You're not alone and I hope this helps!

1,432 PointsYeah, i think they would benefit from also including a 'how to approach these lessons' video in the intro. I'm still unsure about what format they'd hope for the lessons to be retained and practiced.
