It looks like you need to fix your closing tags for your list items. To fix it, make sure you open and close them like this
<li>Portfolio</li>
When you forget the forward slash "/", they will be treated as new list items, thus more bullet points. :-)

25,869 PointsHi,
As Micah has mentioned you look to be missing the slash from the closing li
.
On top of that I noticed that you have the nav
and ul
inside another nav
and ul
. You won't need this.
For example, you currently have:
<header>
<a href="index.html">
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
<h2>Designer</h2>
</a>
<nav><!-- Extra tag not required -->
<ul><!-- Extra tag not required -->
<nav>
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a><li>
<li><a href="About.html">About</a><li>
<li><a href="Contact.html">Contact</a><li>
</ul>
</nav>
</ul><!-- Extra tag not required -->
</nav><!-- Extra tag not required -->
</header>
You could try changing it to this:
<header>
<a href="index.html">
<h1>Nick Pettit</h1>
<h2>Designer</h2>
</a>
<nav>
<ul>
<li><a href="index.html">Portfolio</a></li>
<li><a href="about.html">About</a></li>
<li><a href="contact.html">Contact</a></li>
</ul>
</nav>
</header>
Hope that helps :)
