<?php
$connect = mysql_connect('host', 'login', 'pass'); // replace information here
if (!$connect) {
die('Could not connect: ' + mysql_error()); // this will display error
}
echo 'Connected';
mysql_close($connect);
?>
This script will check if you can connect to database.

22,388 PointsI have fixed the issue, I think, but I have encountered another problem. I forgot to put in my password for "define('DB_PASSWORD'," . which got rid of the error message. Now my issue is that all i see is a white screen. Its not picking up my child theme. It claims that my parent theme is not installed, but it is. Any advice would be great!
Thanks!
