Treehouse TeacherOh so close! You have written if word is less than 5 characters else if word is less than 5 character. We need to say if word is greater than 5 characters here. You've just managed to put less than twice. See my code:
def just_right(word):
if len(word) < 5:
return("Your string is too short.")
elif len(word) > 5: #note the greater than sign here!
return("Your string is too long.")
else:
return True
