4,246 PointsHave no idea what I'm doing wrong here.
No idea what I'm doing wrong on this challenge task. The question is:
Select the H1 tag with the id of full_name and assign it to the variable fullName on line 1. I'm trying to use the getElementByID but keep getting an error. I don't know what else to try here.
var fullName = document.getElementByID("full_name");
var lastName;
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<h1 id="full_name"><span class="first_name">Andrew</span> <span class="last_name">Chalkley</span></h1>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>
var fullName = document.getElementByID("full_name");
var lastName;
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head></head>
<body>
<h1 id="full_name"><span class="first_name">Andrew</span> <span class="last_name">Chalkley</span></h1>
<script src="app.js"></script>
</body>
</html>

19,201 PointsYou are extremely close, the "D" in "Id" needs to be lower case. Should look like this.
var fullName = document.getElementById("full_name");

4,246 PointsHa yeah, I just got it to work. That's pretty infuriating. Thank you though!

4,246 PointsSo I changed the letter 'D' in the GetElementById to lowercase and it worked. That seems like nitpicking. Was honestly looking at it for 45 minutes.
