Has anyone attended a coding bootcamp?

I am considering enrolling in the coding bootcamp, PDXCodeGuild, in Portland, OR. Has anyone in the community attended a coding bootcamp? If so, can you provide your thoughts on your experience?

My brother attended a coding bootcamp. It worked out for him because he got a great job right after. How much does your camp cost? Basically you can learn everything on your own, what a camp provides is a positive environment that helps answer your questions quickly, an environment that has structure so that you have a set lesson plan everyday, a networking environment with fellow students, and interview/job placement help.

It really depends on what exactly your goal is and what your current financial situation/work situation is like. Will your current situation allow you to be full time at a camp? Can you afford the cost of the camp?

People make it with camps and without camps, there is no one correct path. Just think what path you feel will work best for you. Also read reviews on the camp and reach out to students who have graduated already from the camp, and see what there opinions after graduation are.
