the thing is not letting me move forward and I put h1 .heading { font-size: 48px; }

The instructions say to set the font size to 48 pixels, but this code is setting it to 150 instead.

Also, when you put a space between two terms in a selector, it creates a descendant selector. so h1 .heading would target an element with a class of "heading" that is inside an h1 element.

To have both the tag name and class apply to the same element, remove the space (h1.heading).
