Python Development Techdegree Student 30,590 PointsGreat! Now let's create a similar method named isFullyCharged that checks to see if the current bar count is at the maxi
I just dont understand. I have already tried this 35 different ways and it keeps saying task 1 no longer passing. what am I doing wrong?
class GoKart { public static final int MAX_BARS = 8; private String color; private int barCount;
public GoKart(String color) { this.color = color; }
public String getColor() { return color; }
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
if (barCount == 0) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() { return barCount == MAX_BARS; }
}
public void charge() { barCount = MAX_BARS; } }

Treehouse TeacherHi there! You're doing fantastic. You have one tiny issue which is causing a syntax error. Check your isFullyCharged
method. It has one open curly brace, but two closed curly braces. Removing one of those causes your code to pass both steps. Well done!

24,604 PointsHey Bala,
The issue is that you have an extra closing curly bracket following your isFullyCharged method.
