I currently own a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (Model: GT-N8013)
Which software should I use (Free preferable, cannot afford anything right now) to allow this tablet to act as a graphics tablet for Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop?
I have been trying a few but cannot get the machine to recognize it is a tablet (Thus no extra features when creating a new brush).
Thank you for your time!

20,155 PointsUnfortunately android does not have that many media creation applications at this time and not the best. I am hopeful that will change soon. So you really are going to have to spend some money if you want something good but the prices are a few dollars vs. several hundred for desktop software. They seem to also raise the price as they add more feature that mimic the desktop so buy now. Have you tried the built in spen apps? They would be your best bet for free
I have used a few that work with my wacom tablet over usb (stock android seems to understand it is a tablet) but I don't know if the active pen works the same for samsung. Also as a note, the pen in the samsung tablets are decent for sketching and notes but they really do not have as fine of a precision as a wacom tablet and feature like pen tilt. That said I have seen some people do some amazing work with the samsung tablets.
Here is my list:
Autodesk apps - This includes sketchbook Pro, sketchbook express and sketchbook ink. They have some of the best tools for android right now and I have gotten full pen pressure support from them. Some are paid, some are free with limited features and in app purchases. I am almost positive this will work with full spen.
Infinite Painter - Good interface, Good set of tools, pressure pen support.
ArtFlow - Good set of tools, Good interface, said to include s-pen support, there is a limited free version.

20,893 PointsThank you so much for your suggestions! I will look into all of them, and definitely put a wacom tablet on my wish list for Christmas for sure :P
My Galaxy actually never came with the spen so I will have to go back up to the store and grab one (Accident on the retailer) and this might have been why I could not get any of the special features like pressure support to work...
Again, thank you for the response!
