Java Spring with Hibernate Integrating Hibernate with Spring Revisiting Giflib

Gradle 4.0 doesn't support this grade-build file, can anyone help me with this?

I was clicking through the comment, because gradle 2.0 isnt supported anymore by intellij and found an gradle 3.0 build file. But IntelliJ forces me to use Gradle 4.0 at least.

This is my Gradle build file:

Due to the fact, that I am more familliar with maven, I just changed it to this. For anyone facing the same problem, here is my pom.xml build file:
