Anyone know of some good art classes that are online (i.e. online program like treehouse, youtube channel, web page) where one can go to improve drawing skills? I've been playing a lot in illustrator but I am starting to get over the entire I can't draw more than a stick figure well. That and I want to get past the point where I'm always using templates that I didn't create and begging my brother to draw stuff for me (cause he's an animation guy).

29,274 PointsThis course is free, I haven't tried it yet myself but looks interesting, I'm working through one of their other courses and will be going onto that next: http://lpg.pathwright.com/school/catalog/course/digital-painting-101/ - it's not specifically drawing I guess, but it's so limited out there.
http://drawspace.com - while not videos is kind of another site I have come across to do with drawing. It's not something I've really spent time on as it's a lot of reading and I think that's why the majority of us are on treehouse. It's at least one option.
I'm in the same boat as you so if you happen to find anything else along your way let me know!
