941 PointsGiving Treehouse a little... Shuffle.
The UI is friendly and the whole process does not intimidate, and that’s important when you’re attempting to learn something new. I have been using Treehouse for about 6 months now and I feel it’s due a re-shuffle. Nothing radical, just a few things that would help improve the overall feel of the website.
The mock-ups and a little bit of text is on my blog.

5,239 PointsI would disagree about adding social features to a learning page - it's a distraction which would detract from the learning process.
I also don't like the idea of reducing the video size. That would make code in the videos harder to read.
However, I do like the idea of a tab for related forum discussions so that the forum doesn't become a mix of questions already answered as each person reaches the same point. I think that's a weakness of the current forum implementation that could be addressed by having the forum implement contextual topics accessible from the pages that people are learning on.

I concur, it's definitely a distraction

13,834 PointsI agree that a tab with related forum discussions would be really great. I’ve been stuck a few times, and wished there was so way to do exactly that, mainly so that I didn’t get distracted by discussions on other topics that might catch my eye why trying to find some help with my problem.
