Not really a question.. Having completed this section the one thing that seemed to be missing for me was how to set up a repository on Apache that would allow you to work on a local machine and when something was ready to go live allow you to push from your local repository direct to the website.

39,199 PointsI'd recommend having both a development and production branch if using git hooks to automatically deploy code.

18,406 PointsWell the way I've set things up is that I have a XAMPP stack on my computer for running development and remote website I am considering production. Had to work out .gitignore to deal with cache, logs and configs but everything is looking good.
