import android.os.Bundle;

public class FlightActivity extends Activity {

  public int mFuelLevel = 0;

  @Override
  protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
    super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
    setContentView(R.layout.activity_flight);

    // Add your code below!

Hi Austin,

First, you need to declare an Intent and assign the intent used to arrive in your activity to that. Use the getIntent() method:

Intent intent = getIntent();

Next, you want to obtain the value passed into the intent which is stored using the key "FUEL_LEVEL". Looking through the documentation, select an appropriate method to get this value from the "FUEL_LEVEL" key. The value stored is an integer. You then call the selected method (that gets an Integer) on the intent object you created above. Pass in the key, "FUEL_LEVEL" and a default value (as stated in the question) and you should be good to go!

Let me know how you get on.

Steve.
