// I have initialized a java.io.Console for you. It is in a variable named console.
String response;
boolean negative;
do {
response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
negative = response.equalsIgnoreCase("no");
if (negative) {
console.printf("Please review yor notes and try again.");
}
while (negative);

28,558 PointsThe error message ends up pointing at some of the code that is defined in the JavaTester code which is the program that runs your code to verify it, but the actual cause of the errors is an issue in your code.
The error comes from the fact that you don't close your do
statement with an ending bracket }. If you add it like this:
String response;
boolean negative;
do {
response = console.readLine("Do you understand do while loops?");
negative = response.equalsIgnoreCase("no");
if (negative) {
console.printf("Please review yor notes and try again.");
}
} while (negative);
Then your code will pass the second task.
