I have tried changing the permissions in the Vagrantfile but I think I lack the coding to accomplish this here is what I came up with so far

config.vm.synced_folder "./projects", "/home/treehouse/projects", "/vagrant", :extra => "dmode=775, fmode=775"

I am, Thanks for replying I have fixed this problem since, many hours of research, I think I will buy a MAC at this point, Windows is a pain I also installed a VM to run Ubuntu which has been working well
