JavaScript Object-Oriented JavaScript Object Basics Filling Out the Play Method

Getting an error for this if statement inside an object method

The error states, "Bummer: Something is incorrect. Check that you wrote an if statement inside the method. Check that you're using dot notation. Are you using the this keyword?" I feel like its something very simple I'm missing. However, there's nothing in any of the previous videos or that I can find that is helping me.

object.js
const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
        if (player1.isTurn) {}
    }
}

Also a note, the only requirement for the coding question was to add an empty if statement to an object method

While your codes run perfectly without any problems, the challenge is asking you to replace player1 with the keyword this.

this refers to the current object it belongs to:

const player1 = {
    name: 'Ashley',
    color: 'purple',
    isTurn: true,
    play: function(){
        if (this.isTurn) {}
    }
}
