Why is it that i get an error message when i check this? It says that class "Hand" does not have a roll method although it does. When i test the code on my computer it works as it should.
import random
class Hand:
def __init__(self, rolls):
self.dice_list = []
for i in range(rolls):
self.dice_list.append(D20())
@classmethod
def roll(cls, rolls):
return cls(rolls)
@property
def total(self):
return sum(self.dice_list)
class Die:
def __init__(self, sides=2):
if sides < 2:
raise ValueError("Can't have fewer than two sides")
self.sides = sides
self.value = random.randint(1, sides)
def __int__(self):
return self.value
def __add__(self, other):
return int(self) + other
def __radd__(self, other):
return self + other
class D20(Die):
def __init__(self):
super().__init__(sides = 20)
class Hand(list):
@property
def total(self):
return sum(self)

231,269 PointsThe challenge is expecting the Hand class to be implemented in the hands.py file. It does not test the one you put into the dice.py file, even though that works on your computer.
