I just want to double check. Do you have to create a getter method for every setter method that you create in order not to return an undefined? If so, why is that the case?

231,184 PointsIt's often convenient to have getters and setters in combination, but there's no requirement. For example, if you had a getter for a computed property, it would never be written to and so no setter would be needed.
