Gallery clear left using nth-child pseudo selector issue

So I have to clear the left side of the gallery list items but it is not accepting my code. I even checked it against my workspaces code where I am following along with the videos but it is still not working. Do I have an error or is this a bug?

You cannot have a space between li and :nth-child
