Gallery alignment issues.

When I followed the video, though the gallery displayed in two columns, it stretched from one edge of the screen to the other. It was not a problem with my code because I even ran it using Nick's code. I am working in Chrome. The only way I was able to get it to display correctly was to replace the gallery class code as follows:

.gallery { margin: auto; width: 72%; }

Although after more testing, the alignment isn't really right when making the viewport smaller. And I also noted that the code seems to work using Workspaces. I am working is Visual Studio Code.
