I was just wondering if for the "Personal Profile Page" in the projects for the Front End TechDegree, do we build it from scratch? I'd like to know more.

1,463 PointsI never took that techdegree, but I know most of the techdegree projects give you an outline, a starting template, and a rubric. Almost all the code you write yourself. The only code you wouldn't write yourself is anything you haven't learned yet. I hope this helps.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 56,488 PointsHi Michael!
The fewd techdegree will get harder as you go, but for the first project you're talking about you will be provided with some of the code. From the third one you will be starting from zero and build everything yourself, but you will always be given instructions and a couple of images on how they would like it to look (there is always room for some creativity though). If you ever get stuck the community here on Treehouse will always be here to help you!
Hope that help, let me know if you want to know more.

Front End Web Development Techdegree Graduate 84,738 PointsIt's been a few months since I did mine. For most of the course we weren't allowed to use any UI frameworks, but for the personal profile page we were allowed to use Bootstrap or Foundation. And you're definitely allowed to use existing profiles for design inspiration.

4,919 PointsHmm... I'm not familiar with "Bootstrap" but I see it's something employers want, and I've seen it mentioned a lot here and there. I guess no better time to learn than now, eh?
How's your Front-End learning going? You're doing the TechDegree?
