I can't tell what I'm doing wrong. I keep getting an error reminding me to use the {} placeholder and .format()
name = "Ellen"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}"
print(subject.format(name))

31,603 PointsHey Ellen,
you were on the right track and almost got it right! However you have to overwrite the variable subject with the formatted string instead of printing it out.
Like so:
name = "Ellen"
subject = "Treehouse loves {}".format(name)
I hope that helps! :)
