for in method won't work for some reason.

was just wondering if I did something wrong here because the assertion error keeps coming up saying that I alerted the text.

please let me know if it is just my coding.

You don't want to use the same name for the loop variable as you do for the iterator. A good name for the variable might be "continent" (singular), since the loop will put one at a time into it.

for continent in continents:

And it looks like you have too many spaces beside the "bullet" (asterisk). The challenges can be very picky about output formats!
