33,990 PointsNowadays these terms can be used interchangeably however if you want to be really nitpicky, fonts and typefaces breakdown into the following:
Font: A collection of characters. This harks back to around the 15th century when printing presses used metal blocks with each individual character printed on them.
Typeface: A collection of fonts. A typeface can also be called a font family. An example of a typeface is Helvetica which has a bunch of different fonts!!
Hope that helps!!

Font: How the characters look like will be the font? Helvetica Light and Helvetica Bold look different so they are different font?
Your answer is really that great and easy to understand, Thank you. I think I got the idea. :)
