Flowchart Course Suggestion

As a UX/UI designer I want to make great and easy to understand flowcharts so I can clearly explain the sites and apps I design to other designers and developers.

So far I've tried making flowcharts following standards that I can search for on the internet or wikipedia. However, whenever I complete and share a flowchart with others it always confuses them more than it helps.

I don't know if I don't know how to make a clear and understandable flowchart or if the people I'm showing it to just don't know how to read flowcharts.

I was hoping this would spark interest in the teachers and community to help me improve my flowchart experience with either references or a future Treehouse course!

You could post a link to one or two of your flow charts so we can all provide feedback and to determine what works and what could be better.

Jeff Lemay, this is one of my old ones, I've made more complex flowcharts since then but they've so far been for projects I can't talk about yet! https://dfs7556.cias.rit.edu/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/eh-first-time-flowchart.png This is from a project I did for college. It's a concept for an electricity monitor and advisor for home environments. https://dfs7556.cias.rit.edu/portfolio/energy-hog/ I'll link this project's case study for context.
