Hello,
In the Python debugging module, I discovered a few questions that I keep missing whitespace. I have followed the suggestion of removing the blank spaces after each line and have kept the columns in line.
I don't want to assume it has to do with the IDE. I think it is something simple that doesn't jive with my current input for these tasks.
Thanks in advance for your help.
numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
def add(num1, num2):
return num1 + num2
def subtract(num1, num2):
return num1 - num2
def mathy(num1, num2):
up = add(5 + 7, 7 + 9)
down = subtract(6,3)
return add(up, down)

231,269 PointsI tried pasting your code into the challenge and got this response from the system:
Bummer: Your file has 2 error(s) on line(s) 14, 15: missing whitespace after ','; blank line at end of file.
If you follow those hints and add a space after the comma on line 14, and also add a blank line after line 15 (making a new empty line 16), you will pass the challenge.
