7,120 PointsIn CSS to add a style attribute to an element you must put the name/id of the element in your CSS as follows:
.main-header{
position: relative;
}
If you want to affect an element with a specific ID(ie. <span id="aSpan">) your CSS would include a hastag(#) followed by the ID:
#aSpan {
some-property: some-value;
}
And for all elements using a certain "class" it would be prefixed by a "." instead.
.some-class {
some-property: some-value;
}
