Hey all,
I've just finished the layout and functionality of my first paid website-project which I freelanced for a local hairdresser in my neighborhood!
I still have some minor, minor things to do, but it's basically done. Here it is on a temporary domain/host: http://salongspegeln.comuv.com
Looking for some feedback and opinions from you guys. :)
Cheers.

5,401 PointsGreat job Christian! I believe the big slider is a great choice as it will allow the hairdresser to show what they can do (and visitors love visual things) :)
As a designer, I would personally remove the inner shadow you use in your boxes as it looks too "old school" (it's something people tended to overuse in the past.
Anyway, you did a great job! Keep it up :)

7,748 PointsThe site seems to function pretty well when I resize it in my browser.
I agree with Benjamin about removing the inner shadows. I'd also suggest using a cleaner transition on the slider.
I feel that the Prislista page could be improved for larger screen sizes like laptops/desktops as everything feels to small and crammed together when viewing on my laptop.
Overall great functioning site, and with a few visual adjustments, the site will be good to go.

So I might reconsider the inner shadows then. Any suggestions to how I should design those boxes?
I agree with you on the pricelist page, but I really don't know what else to put on there to make it bigger. I'd like to add some content underneath the priselists to vertically extend the site, but I really can't think of anything that makes sense.

Yeah I might remove the inner shadow on the news-boxes. I'll probably keep the ones in the footer though because in my original design where I didn't use any shadows I thought it looked a bit dull. The website is quite simple really and so I think it needs some depth to make it look busier.
