Just wondering if anyone can recommend a good starting point if my goal is to work from home doing some freelance work while I continue to learn. I'm just wanting to leave my current job and any wage will do. Thanks in advance.

Courses Plus Student 13,331 PointsThree points in a nutshell :
- Learn a specific topic Try to focus on one main language if you want build an app try these tracks :
https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/beginning-android (Before taking this track do these courses : https://teamtreehouse.com/library/java-basics https://teamtreehouse.com/library/java-objects-2 https://teamtreehouse.com/library/java-arrays )
For ios : https://teamtreehouse.com/tracks/beginning-ios
These are all suggestions try do what you want choice is endless. If you don't know where to start well just do a load of random stuff then you should find your interest in something. Remember there are loads of other places in the internet where you can learn to code though treehouse is probably the best place.
Practice, Practice, Practice Keep on repeating what you have learn't tell you are the master of it practice is almost taking up one chapter of your life though trust me it is worth it.
Find work You could recruit yourself to big companies like apple or microsoft or become a seller on https://www.fiverr.com/ and get some profit.
EDITED : I don't know why the second point shows the number 1 and the third point showing the number two probably some glitch.

20,144 PointsComing from a fellow student and full stack bootcamp grad I agree with the above advice. In retrospect wish I hadn’t gone the route of learning a little bit of everything - now I’m retracing my steps to realllllllly learn a few skills that work together (HTML, CSS, JAVASCRIPT, SASS) and equal a job. While It can be exciting to aim for the ceiling I think it takes longer to learn and hone the fundamentals then a lot of the internet suggests - my best advice is to do some research and soul searching - pick one language and take every lesson you can find on it till its second nature.
