Failed workshop

Im working on the fetch API workshop and the console in my chrome browser is logging a fail massage that reads: DevTools failed to parse SourceMap: http://port-80-m0f15jggvn.treehouse-app.com/css/styles.css.map

Im not able to do anything, can you please fix this error?

You can't share a direct URL to your workspace, it's temporary and only exists while you are using it (this one has expired).
But you can use the snapshot function in the workspace and provide the link to that

remove this line /*# sourceMappingURL=styles.css.map */ and the error is fixed.

Using VS-code I had the same error when I the first time ran the app. The very last line in styles.css file causes that an issue. this line causes the error:

1153
1154 /*# sourceMappingURL=styles.css.map */
1155

works in some cases:

1153
1154 # sourceMappingURL=styles.css.map
1155

most recommended:

1153
1154
1155

Why does this happen? As it's commented out, it shouldn't affect operation, right? Steven Parker said the same thing above...

I had the same problem. I have deleted last line of comented code in style.css and it worked
