i just completed the course on creating a contact list (“intro to table views” course). i would like to extend this app to allow a user to first input the city name for the contact — i.e. app opens to an input page asking user to enter a city name, then moves to a curated contact list (curated for the city entered), and then user can still tap on a specific contact in the list to see full contact details. i tried adding a view controller (ala the “build an interactive story app” course) between the master nav controller and the master table view, but this didn’t work (lost ability to go back to the contact list view once i entered the detail view). can someone point me to tutorials that would help me add this functionality? i’m hopeful i can just extend the current app vs. start from scratch.
