public class ForumPost {
private User mAuthor;
private String mTitle;
private String mDescription;
public ForumPost ( User author, String title, String description){

mTitle = title;

}
public User getAuthor() {
return mAuthor;
}
public String getTitle() {
return mTitle;
}
public String getDescription(){

}
// TODO: We need to expose the description
}
public class User {

System.out.println("Starting forum example...");
if (args.length < 2) {
System.out.println("first and last name are required. eg: java Example Craig Dennis");
}
Forum forum = new Forum("Java");
// Take the first two elements passed args
User author = new User("Michelle", "Pak");
// Add the author, title and description
ForumPost post = new ForumPost(author, "FINISHED","excited");
forum.addPost(post);
}

57,712 PointsHi Michelle,
In this challenge, the args
passed into main
are used to hold the values of the author
names. So, args[0]
is passed in for the firstName
and args[1]
holds the expected value for lastName
.
To access this, change your use of the User
constructor to use those two args
rather than the strings you have used:
User author = new User(args[0], args[1]);
I hope that helps!
Steve.
