2,419 PointsException compiler error, cannot find symbol
if (mBarsCount < 1) { throw new illegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains."); }
Getting a compiler error saying that it cannot find the symbol "illegal Argument Exception" What did I miss to make this work?
public class GoKart {
public static final int MAX_BARS = 8;
private String mColor;
private int mBarsCount;
public GoKart(String color) {
mColor = color;
mBarsCount = 0;
}
public String getColor() {
return mColor;
}
public void drive() {
drive(1);
}
public void drive(int laps) {
if (mBarsCount < 1) {
throw new illegalArgumentException("Not enough battery remains.");
}
mBarsCount -= laps;
}
public void charge() {
while (!isFullyCharged()) {
mBarsCount++;
}
}
public boolean isBatteryEmpty() {
return mBarsCount == 0;
}
public boolean isFullyCharged() {
return mBarsCount == MAX_BARS;
}
}

3,747 PointsMistake is very simple - you wrote illegalArgumentException, but you need to write IllegalArgumentException . Change 1st letter to capital :)

2,419 PointsThanks a lot. As per usual, it was some small little mistake that makes me feel like an idiot. Appreciate the help.
