509 PointsEvery time I restart VSC, when I type in '$ npm start' into the bash terminal, I get an ELIFECYCLE error. how to fix?
in order to make React run in my browser I have to run:
$ npm cache clean --force
$ rm -rf node_modules package-lock.json
$ npm install
$ npm start
This fixes it for that session, but when I close and reopen VSC, I have the same ELIFECYCLE issue again, and need to do the above fixes again. Is there something wrong with my VSC setup that is causing this? I can't imagine this is normal?!

509 PointsI think this was because I was not hitting ctr C to cancel the local browser when finished for the day. When I do that, no issues... Problem solved.
