4,981 PointsEven.py step 3 : I get the right result but Treehouse's editor keeps rejecting it.
When I preview the script, I get the 'x is odd/even' output and five messages are generated before the While loop breaks.
What formatting issues am I running into here?
Thanks!
import random
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
start = 5
while start > 0:
x = random.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(x) == 0:
print('{} is even.'.format(x))
else:
print('{} is odd.'.format(x))
start -= 1

22,160 PointsNow this is weird.
1: Remove the periods at the end of your print statement. They are not asked for in the challenge.
And now the weird part.
2: When I change your == to a > it passes.
No idea why. :|

6,891 PointsIs there a technical reason as to why it has to be changed from '==' to '>'?

4,981 PointsThanks a ton, Nathan! Yeah, I figured that it was formatting issues, again.
