I'm now getting an Oops! It look like Task 1 is no longer passing..
task one was random import and task 2 was start = 5
Challange : Alright, last step but it's a big one. Make a while loop that runs until start is falsey. Inside the loop, use random.randint(1, 99) to get a random number between 1 and 99. If that random number is even (use even_odd to find out), print "{} is even", putting the random number in the hole. Otherwise, print "{} is odd", again using the random number. Finally, decrement start by 1. I know it's a lot, but I know you can do it!
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
while start != 0:
num = rendom.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(num) == 0:
print("{} is even".format(num))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
start -= 1

I'm still getting an "Oops! It looks like Task 1 is no longer passing."

my code currently:

return not num % 2

4,604 PointsLooks like just a typo, instead of random, you have rendom.
Also, it returns your odds and evens the wrong way around, so just need to adjust your return statement.
Should be fine after that.

Courses Plus Student 2,343 Pointsoh dear silly me
so this code dose work..
but it says it's printing out the wrong number =/
import random
start = 5
def even_odd(num):
# If % 2 is 0, the number is even.
# Since 0 is falsey, we have to invert it with not.
return not num % 2
while start != True:
num = random.randint(1, 99)
if even_odd(num) != 0:
print("{} is even".format(num))
else:
print("{} is odd".format(num))
start -= 1

4,604 PointsHi o/
Check your indents around your first if statement. You don't need a colon after the num = random..... line Finally, the syntax around the format statements needs adjusting so the format part is within the print function.
Fix those bits and your code is solid and works fine
