Error with column names

This SQL Basics course continues to give an error in the practice questions stating that I am not selecting all column names.

The question is: We have an e-commerce database. Inside the products table we have the columns of id, name, description and price. Without using the OR keyword, find all products with the price of 7.99, 9.99 or 11.99.

My SQL response is: select id, name, description, price from products where price IN (7.99, 9.99, 11.99);

Please help with which column name is missing. - Thank you.

Hi Michelle,

Since the challenge didn't specify any particular names of columns to return, you can just use * for the columns, i.e., just return all columns. If you replace the beginning of your query with SELECT * FROM products (etc., with the rest the same as you had before), instead of naming all the columns, it should work!

In general that will be your default for the challenges: use SELECT * unless it's specifically asking for particular columns.
