error when using the console in work space. Why does it say " bash: jJavacC: Command not found"

Following video instructions step by step. In the console I entered: javac Introductions.java
then I hit enter and got the error that says bash: jJavacC: Command not found

Please help, it is discouraging to hit a road block this early in the learning game

It looks like it's reading in extra keystrokes somewhere. It wouldn't give you that error unless it saw an extra "J" and "C" in there. The best thing I can tell you right now is to try this. Click on View -> Hide console. Then click on View -> Show console. This should reset the console. Try typing your command again very slowly. And triple-check the spelling.

Also, and this is just a hunch, make sure none of your shift keys are stuck on your keyboard. Every great once in a while a key on a keyboard can get stuck in the down position and cause problems.

If this continues, you're likely going to have to contact support.
