The MDN page for for
loops is a great reference for syntax. You'll always want to carefully read the description of the challenge tasks, they are normally looking for very specific output (100 vs 500).
// syntax: replace , with ;
for(counter = 5, counter < 501, counter++){ // stop at 100, not 500
console.log(counter);
}
