943 PointsError Message : Render Problem
I have an error message called Render Problem "Failed to load Appcompat ActionBar with unknown error"
My Emulator phone shows "Hello World" and updates the screen when I change the words in the code. However in the Android Studio section when I click Design (Design/Text), there are no words, its just an empty white screen. What do I do?

Courses Plus Student 358 PointsThis worked for me. Modify /res/values/styles.xml from:
<style name="AppTheme" parent="Theme.AppCompat.Light.DarkActionBar"> </style> to:
<style name="AppTheme" parent="Base.Theme.AppCompat.Light.DarkActionBar"> </style>

Treehouse TeacherHasan;
Do you have a link to your project code available? It would make it much easier to help debug if we can see all the code and how it's tied together. That being said, it sounds like it might be an issue with the Android support library version you are using in your project in the app's build.gradle
file. Or the Action Bar setting in styles.xml
. Extremely difficult to say which without seeing your project code.
Please post back with additional information.
Happy coding,
Ken
