Hello, I'm using chrome and trying to open console via ctrl +shift + J but only below error message appears.. Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
can someone help me to open the console in right way? Thank you

That's the correct way to open the console and the error you're seeing actually indicates you're in the right place!
Does the error include the text favicon? Like:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 :8000/favicon.ico:1
If so you can safely ignore this error. This is due to Treehouse trying to load an icon for the tab which isn't part of your workspace and has no bearing on your code.

4,991 PointsI know this is late, but this same thing happened to meβmake sure you've linked your script.js file as instructed in the previous video. If the JavaScript file isn't linked, it's just going to show you your HTML page, so no JS errors to view in the console!
