when calling wp_head() function my page turn blank , thought it was working and show up the content before calling the wp_head()

wp_head() causes WordPress to load the styles, scripts and meta tags as defined in functions.php. Check the functions.php file. Check to make sure you have the appropriate script and style load functions. Check the browser's development tools console for 'file not found' or other errors.
