Error in Android Studio

I get an error with the LaunchActivity.this saying it can't resolve that symbol...

public class MainActivity extends Activity {

mStartButton=(Button)findViewById(R.id.button); mStartButton.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() { @Override public void onClick(View view) {

        }
        private void startStory(){

            Intent intent;
            intent = new Intent(LaunchActivity.this,Activity.class);  

            startActivity(intent);

If Your class is MainActivity, not LaunchActivity I think You should use this:

intent = new Intent(MainActivity.this, Activity.class);

or just:

intent = new Intent(this, Activity.class);
