I get this error when trying to run example at the end of the video.
Example.java:27: error: cannot find symbol
if (dispense.isEmpty()) {
^
symbol: variable dispense
location: class Example

here is what i wrote in PezDispenser.Java
public boolean dispense() { boolean wasDispensed = false; if (!isEmpty()) { mPezCount--; wasDispensed = true; } return wasDispensed; }
public boolean isEmpty() { return mPezCount == 0; }
public void load() { //public method that returns nothing( void ) load(MAX_PEZ); // turns mPezCount into the MAX_PEZ count } // used to be mPezCount = MAZ_PEZ;
public void load(int pezAmount) { mPezCount += pezAmount; }
here is the code in Example.java
System.out.println("We are making a new Pez Dispenser.");
PezDispenser dispenser = new PezDispenser("Yoda");
System.out.printf("The dispenser character is %s\n",
dispenser.getCharacterName());
if (dispenser.isEmpty()) {
System.out.println("It is currently empty");
}
System.out.println("Loading...");
dispenser.load();
if (dispenser.isEmpty()) {
System.out.println("It is no longer empty");
}
while (dispenser.dispense()) {
System.out.println("Chomp!");
}
if (dispense.isEmpty()) {
System.out.println("Ate all the PEZ!");
}
dispenser.load(4);
dispenser.load(2);
while (dispenser.dispense()) {
System.out.println("Chomp!");
}
}
}

28,738 PointsHello,
I think you wanted to call that as:
if (dispenser.isEmpty()) {
System.out.println("Ate all the PEZ!");
}
since your PezDispenser is named dispenser.

6,799 PointsWow, thank you so much. I can't believe I over looked that misspelling so many times. The code works as expected now.
