Error 2017 when trying to export database

Hi!

When trying to export the movies database, I get the following error message in the Export Progress Tab:

mysqldump: Got error: 2017: Can't open named pipe to host: . pipe: MySQL (2) when trying to connect Operation failed with exitcode 2

I have tried to google the solution, but so far to no avail.
I am using XAMPP on windows 8.1 and Workbench 6.2CE.

Can anybody point me in the right direction what to do? Any advice appreciated!
