2,407 PointsError #14876 - wrong coordinates received! What am I doing wrong?
I have fiddled around with the getLatitude() and getLongitude() methods in the overridden handleMessage but either get syntax errors when using the . operator or the same error message Error #14876 - wrong coordinates received!
Any ideas on how to get the right coordinates received?

23,733 PointsYou need to set the coordinate fields, so you need assignments:
public class GeolocationService extends Service {
int mLatitude;
int mLongitude;
// some methods omitted
@Override
public IBinder onBind(Intent intent) {
return null;
}
class LocationHandler extends Handler{
@Override
public void handleMessage(Message msg){
mLatitude = getLatitude();
mLongitude = getLongitude();
}
}
}
