2,532 PointsequalsIgnoringCase example
Not exactly sure what i am doing wrong here? Am I not attaching the equalsIgnoringCase to the right variable?
// I have imported a java.io.Console for you, it is named console.
String firstExample = "hello";
if (firstExample.equalsIgnoreCase("thirdExample")) {
console.printf("first and third are the same ignore case");
}
String secondExample = "hello";
String thirdExample = "HELLO";
if (firstExample == secondExample) {
console.printf("First is equal to second");
}

54,971 PointsthirdExample shouldn't be in quotes. You may also have to place the task 2 code at the bottom.

2,532 PointsThanks Kris. I did move the if statement to the bottom as well. I did not try to run it where I had it so i am not sure if it worked there or not.
